Not Excited for Wuthering Heights

My one friend posted something about the upcoming Wuthering Heights adaptation and how they're going to defend Margot Robbie no matter what. As someone who hates even the tiniest discrepancies between my beloved books and the films, I am going to be insufferable about how bad it is because I know in my gut it is going to be awful. I'm sorry. Ha ha! I wish that I wasn't that person, but I am the person who wants the movie to be beat by beat what the book is because otherwise what right do you have to say that you're based on the books?

As much as I loved The Lord of the Rings those movies are different and exist in a different space in my mind because they are vastly different from the books and they do not include one of my favorite characters from the series: Tom Bombadil. The Hobbit triology on the other hand made me want to set everything on fire because of how different it was from the book, and I absolutely hated them. I loathed the stupid love triangle. I would've been fine with more women elves had they not taken up any limelight or spotlight because this book was about Bilbo and the dwarves and Gandalf! Not some stupid love triangle between a dwarf and two elves.

Anyone else hate when the movies differ from the books? Because it absolutely makes me want to spit fire.
